DE RODE POORT
Als tweede project van de opleiding moest er een halfopen woning ontworpen worden. Vanaf het begin van de de ontwerpfase hield ik rekening met de organisatie, ruimtelijkheid, volumewerking en oriëntatie van de woning. Op die manier probeerde ik een zo kwalitatief mogelijke woning te ontwerpen.
As the second project of the course, a semi-detached house had to be designed. From the beginning of the design phase, I took into account the house’s organisation, spatiality, volume effect and orientation. In this way, I tried to design as qualitative a house as possible.
De leefruimte is het centrum van de woning, hier kunnen alle bewoners samen ontspannen. Daarom is ervoor gekozen om deze ruimte te voorzien op het eerste verdiep, op die manier ligt de ruimte letterlijk centraal aangezien het project bestaat uit drie verdiepen. Zoals te zien op bovenstaand beeld wordt er via de vide connectie gemaakt met het bovenliggende verdiep wat zorgt voor een aangename ruimtelijkheid.
The living space is the centre of the house; this is where all the residents can relax together. That is why the choice was made to provide this space on the first floor, this way the space is literally in the centre, as the project consists of three floors. As can be seen in the image above, a connection is made with the upper floor via the mezzanine, creating a pleasant spaciousness.
